Michael Knight holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer of Foodbuy LLC. Knight joined Compass Group in 1994 and was employed in a number of financial positions including Compass Group Assistant Controller, Vice President of Tax, Vice President of Strategic Planning and Chief Financial Officer of Compass Airport Foodservice Division – Creative Host Services. Knight joined Foodbuy in 2005 and served as CFO for ten years prior to becoming CCO.  

Prior to joining Compass Group and Foodbuy, Knight was a tax manager with Deloitte and Touche in Charlotte, NC. As Foodbuy CCO, Knight’s responsibilities include oversight of company financial planning, reporting, analysis, training, project management and operations. Knight is married with three daughters and three grandchildren and resides in Charlotte, NC.
